*For Reading we will read the story, My Lucky Day, by Keiko Kasza.  It is an animal fantasy (fiction) story and we will focus on the comprehension skill cause and effect.  We will review the /l/ sound and connect it with the letter Ll.  Watch for your new Family Times newsletter!  **Also, don’t forget to practice your high frequency sight word flashcards!!
*In Math we will continue with Topic 6: Numbers to 100.  Practice counting to 100 by 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s and writing numbers 0-20.  Please review daily work mats/lessons.
*There will be NO DATA DELAY for students on Wednesday, February 14t due to the recent snow days and there WILL BE SCHOOL for students and teachers on Monday, February 19 due to a scheduled snow make-up day.
*Friday, Feb. 16th is a Spartan Dress Down Day.  All staff and students can wear a Spartan shirt with jeans or sweatpants with a $1.00 donation.
*Toothbrush charts are due back by the week ending March 2.  Any student who returns his/her chart will receive a “dental health” treat from Mrs. Potts.  (Remember to continue to eat healthy foods, brush and floss your teeth, and visit a dentist at least once a year to keep your smile looking great!)
