This week we will finish learning the consonant
letter Ss as in sun and snake.
We will not start a new letter
until we return from the Thanksgiving Break on Tuesday, December 3rd. **Word List #5 will not be
tested until Thursday,12/5 or Friday, 12/6 due to the Thanksgiving break. (Extra time to practice!)

We will not be starting a new Reading story, but
please take some time to read at home with your child and continue to practice
the high frequency sight word flashcards.
·
For Math, we will take our Topic 4 Test for
ordering and comparing numbers 0-10.
Review 1 & 2 fewer, 1 & 2 more, and practice writing numbers
0-10 correctly.

This week we will continue our Thanksgiving
Theme and will celebrate our own Kindergarten Thanksgiving by watching Charlie
Brown’s Thanksgiving with our 4th grade, reading buddies. Students will bring home a Thanksgiving
bracelet and will get to be Pilgrims and Indians for a day!

On Tuesday, November 26th, a letter
to Santa will be coming home for you to complete with your child. Please
return this letter by Tuesday, December 3rd. **A postman will be visiting sometime
early in December to pick up the letters at school and take them directly to
Santa at the North Pole! **Please be
sure to include a return address on the envelope and address the envelope to
SANTA!

Wednesday, November 27th will be an
early dismissal @ 1:00pm and will be our last day of school before the holiday
break. There will be NO SCHOOL on
Thursday, Friday, and Monday, November 28-December 2. School reopens on Tuesday, December 3rd. **Please
note there will be NO BREAKFAST served on Wed., Nov. 27th due to the
early dismissal. (Lunch for Kindergarten will be from 9:15-9:45 and library 12:00-12:30.)

Thank you to ALL the parents who attended
Parent/Teacher conferences on Monday, November 18th. Your interest and support
in your child’s education are greatly appreciated and important to your child’s
success!
Monday will be Day 1 on the special classes’ schedule. (Don’t
forget library books on Wednesday, Nov. 27th)
