Hope everyone had an enjoyable summer and is ready to start school!
This week we will be very busy getting to know the school & classroom rules and procedures, as well as, meeting our classmates, special classes' teachers, and fellow Kindergarten teachers and students. We will follow a whole weeks' schedule and introduce Saxon Phonics and Math programs.
Show and Tell for the letter Ll will begin next week. Brown bags will be sent home on Thursday, 9/2. (Please follow the Show & Tell schedule in the middle of your child's folder.)
There will be a districtwide pep rally on Friday morning at the High School Stadium for all students, teachers, and staff. Show your Spartan Spirit and dress in school colors and/or NS attire. GO SPARTANS!!!
Just a few reminders:
- Please complete and return all school and classroom forms sent home in your child's RETURN side of his/her communication folder ASAP.
- Students will need sneakers and gym attire for Day 3 (Wednesday, Sept. 1st). **see special classes' schedule in the middle of your child's folder.
- Boys and girls NEED to wear bus tags to/from school each day.
Thank you to all the parents and students who attended Meet The Teacher Night last Tuesday. I enjoyed meeting you all and look forward to working with you in the 2010-2011 school year!
