Phonics next week we will finish working on digraph ch as in cheese and digraph ee as in sheep and will begin learning combinations ar, or,
& er as in star, horse, and butter.
We will NOT have Show & Tell.
Boys and girls are doing a
terrific job applying these skills when spelling words! Yahoo!!!

List 27 will be tested on Friday, May 17th. Practice daily!!
For Reading we will begin the story, The House That Tony Lives In. It is a fictional story. We will be reviewing setting. Watch for your new Family Times

THERE
WILL BE NO HOMEWORK for the rest of the school year, but please keep checking your child’s folder.
We
will be reviewing Math skills and will continue testing skills and concepts
learned throughout the school year.
Review time to the hour, money values and coin identification, numbers
0-31, and writing numbers correctly.
The
last book exchange for the school
library was Wednesday, May 8th. Be sure to locate and return books on Wednesday, May 15th,
our scheduled day for library.
The
last delivery for the Weekender
backpack food program will be Wednesday, May 15th. After this delivery, bags need to be
returned as soon as possible.

Thursday, May 23rd--Ringling Bros. Circus Field Trip @Hershey Giant Center **Just a reminder, students will need to wear their blue NSE shirts (that were given to them from the PTO) on the field trip—so have it ready!

Monday, May 27th--Memorial Day--NO SCHOOL
Tuesday, May 28th--Kindergarten Graduation @ High School Auditorium *Students will be wearing caps and gowns and will NEED to wear a white collared shirt.
Friday, May 31st--Last Day of School (Early Dismissal @ 11:45)
