Kindergarten News
**This week we will be learning the consonant letter Nn as in nest, nut, and November. Please continue to review all the letters we have learned so far. Show and Tell will follow the schedule.
**In Reading we will finish the Unit 1 test and take a look at our first story Life in an Ocean, in Unit 2: Animals Live Here. Watch for your new Family Times newsletter!
**For Math we will be ordering the numbers 0-10, identifying a missing number, playing BINGO with the numbers 0-9, identifying and counting pennies, and matching a number card to a set of objects. Our 4th Math newsletter will be sent home on Wednesday. Be sure to check it out!!!
**Parent/teacher conferences will be held on Tuesday, November 2nd. Parents can either attend the 4:00pm or 5:00pm session. If you are unable to attend please let the teacher know whether a phone conference is needed. Yellow forms were sent home last week with details. The sessions will begin promptly at 4 and 5 so plan to be on time. Thank you!
**Report cards will be distributed on Friday, November 5th. Please be sure to check your child’s folder!!!
**Thank you to ALL the classroom helpers who helped with the Halloween party and parade. It was a BOO-tiful time for all! Have a safe and Happy Halloween this weekend!
**Monday, November 1st will be Day 3—gym class, so do not forget to wear sneakers and gym attire. Thursday, November 4th is Library with book exchange.
**Tuesday, November 2nd is Election Day. Don’t forget to VOTE.
