**This week in Reading we will begin the story Bear Snores On by Karma Wilson and Jane Chapman. We will be discussing hibernation and will learn to differentiate between real and make-believe. Watch for the new Family Times newsletter to come home!

**Please remind your child to keep up with his/her schoolwork and behavior. With the excitement of the holiday approaching, students need to remember school is not finished yet! Thank you for your support.

**Just a reminder: December Scholastic book orders and money are due on Tuesday, December 8th. Make note to Mrs. Potts if any orders are gifts for Christmas!

**Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to be Santa’s helpers for the PTO Santa’s Shop. The students really enjoyed shopping!! (Kindergarten will be able to shop again, as needed, on Tuesday, December 8th from 1:00-2:00.)

**The monthly PTO meeting will be held on Monday, December 7th @6:30 in the school cafeteria. All are invited and encouraged to attend. The PTO Fundraiser Pick-up is scheduled for Wednesday, December 9th. If your child participated in the fundraiser, then please be sure to pick up the orders at the school.

**The NS High School Rotary Interact Club is sponsoring a Christmas Party for the district’s Kindergarten students on Sunday, December 13th from 2:00-4:00pm @ the cafeteria of St. Catherine’s Medical Center. Please return your responses (from the bottom of the invitation sent home before the
